Most mornings, T prepares a cup of coffee for me. Even if I start brewing, she will often finish the process and pour my cup as I am easily distracted. I look forward to the smell and hearing T say 'your coffee is ready.'

I also love the way the morning sun illuminates our kitchen. Yesterday, I was appreciating how the light emphasized the patterns in the flow of coffee and rising steam.
